Trent Brumby

Trent Brumby graduated from the University of Queensland in 1990 and has developed an extensive variety of treatment skills form positions and studies in Queensland, South Australia and the USA.

He attained a Masters of Physiotherapy (Sports) in 1999 and is an accredited APA Sports Physiotherapist. Trent has worked extensively with elite athletes from Triathlon, Surf Lifesaving, Football, Netball and numerous other sports teams.

Trent represented South Australia and then Queensland as a junior Hockey player every year from 1979 to 1985. He later turned his interest to Triathlon and in 1998 he completed the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon. Presently he is still actively involved in Surfing, Triathlon and Surf lifesaving.

Trent has a special interest in the treatment of shoulder problems and overuse injuries in multisport and endurance events.

 



Fawn Whiting

Physiotherapist (BHK, MPT)

Fawn Whiting graduated with her Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia in 2009. She also holds a Bachelor in Human Kinetics from UBC. Fawn is pursuing advanced training in manual therapy, and has completed courses in functional movement screening, assessment and exercise prescription, among others. She is also an ART Certified Practitioner, which is a soft tissue movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. ART is also the soft tissue treatment for Ironman events worldwide

ART can be used to treat:
 • Headaches
 • Back pain
 • Sciatica
 • Knee & shoulder problems

Fawn's treatment approach combines manual therapy, exercise, and education to treat and prevent injuries.   

Fawn is currently overseas and we look forward to her retuning in the near future!

Michelle is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and Pilates Instructor. Michelle’s massage positively influences a person’s overall health and wellbeing by applying various techniques to the muscular structures and soft tissues of the body. She is also trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage whereby slow and light techniques are used to stimulate the lymphatic system and assist the body in its natural process to drain excess fluid, bacteria and waste.

Amber is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist. Amber has a love of sport and over the last 18 months has thoroughly enjoyed her work as a Therapist, helping to improve people’s lives through massage.
She has a special interest in Netball and AFL and has recently worked with the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn AFL Football cubs during pre-season training on the Sunshine Coast.
